### DOT Physical Examination A DOT Physical is a federally required medical examination for commercial motor vehicle drivers. The examination is performed by an NRCME Certified Medical Examiner to determine whether a driver meets the medical standards established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). The examination includes a review of medical history, vital signs, vision and hearing screening, urinalysis, and a physical examination. Additional documentation or evaluation may be required depending on the driver's medical history, medications, or examination findings.
